Rockstar released 39 new GTA 6 screenshots on November 5, 2026. We break down every image, including the Vice City club shot fans say shows Kodak Black.
Rockstar published the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Gallery on November 5, 2026 at rockstargames.com/VI/launch-gallery, announced on Newswire and on X. The post said GTA 6 is "now officially only two weeks away" and invited fans to explore "Vice City and beyond." It closed with one line: "See you in Leonida on November 19."
No captions. No mission names. No story context. 39 4K images and two weeks to stare at them.
We downloaded every file from the official page. Breakdown by Rockstar's own file names: Vice City 15 (Vice_City_13 to 27), Jason Duval 9 (Jason_Duval_11 to 19), Jason and Lucia together 7 (Jason_and_Lucia_14 to 20), Lucia Caminos 4 (Lucia_Caminos_11 to 14), Grassrivers 2, Leonida Keys 1, Port Gellhorn 1. Total: 39 unique images at 3840x2160. TweakTown also counted 39 from the file names. Other outlets landed anywhere from 35 to 38 because the page also shows edition art and bonus-content imagery, and some counted by eye rather than by file. The file-name count is 39.
The numbering picks up where Rockstar's earlier official screenshot sets left off. New additions to the existing official set, not replacements.

The Kodak Black Screenshot
One image is already doing more work than the other 38 combined.
Vice_City_25: a man in a pink-lit club booth with two women, champagne on ice, white tee, large octagonal "1800" pendant, white cup with a "J&H" logo, visible face tattoos including what looks like a bird tattoo between the eyebrows.
Fans on Reddit identified him almost immediately as South Florida rapper Kodak Black. The call rests on the hairstyle, the face tattoos, and the "1800" chain, per Miami New Times. The cup's "J&H" lettering, which Miami New Times reads as "Jack of Hearts", is being read as a possible nod to Miami's King of Diamonds strip club.
Miami New Times also noted Kodak Black's music was audible in GTA VI's extended preview. Similar lookalike speculation surfaced after the first trailer in December 2023.
Rockstar has not confirmed it is Kodak Black. The Launch Gallery announcement names no one and describes no character's role. Some hip-hop blogs have called him an official character, that is not confirmed. There is no basis to say he is playable. If it is him, the screenshot suggests an NPC or cameo. Until Rockstar says otherwise: "the character fans say is Kodak Black."
GTA has a long history of real artists appearing in-game. That context makes the identification plausible. It does not make it confirmed.
Jason and Lucia: 7 Screenshots

Seven Jason-and-Lucia shots, wide range of tones, exactly what you'd expect from a story built around two people running jobs while keeping a relationship intact.
One image stands out immediately: Jason and Lucia on the hood of a pickup on a grassy hill under a large tree, Vice City skyline below them at sunset, deer grazing in the foreground. A quiet moment between jobs. The launch trailer breakdown flagged that dynamic as central to their arc.

Then there is the Fleeca bank branch robbery: both in bandanas, SMGs raised, duffel bag visible. That duffel matters. Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG that cash in a duffel bag has to reach a fence before it becomes usable money, and that fence relationships unlock over time. A clean Fleeca hit is not just a story beat, it is a logistics problem.
Other shots in this group: a neon-blue embrace; Jason leaning out of a moving car with a pistol while Lucia stands nearby in sunglasses; a busy bar dance floor that appears to include Brian Heder (GrandTheft.gg identifies him in this shot, treat that as unconfirmed until Rockstar names him; see GTA 6 First Voice Actor Confirmed: Stephen Root Is Playing Brian Heder); Lucia firing from a convertible in a street chase with police and an armored truck behind her; and the pair in a convertible in sunglasses.

Jason Duval: 9 Screenshots

Nine solo Jason shots covering almost every state he can be in.
One shows him mid-press on a weight bench. Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG that gym memberships are purchasable at the front desk and that completing 3 exercises of the same type fills a workout ring and triggers a timed stat boost. Lines up with what Trailer 1 showed.

Another shows Jason at a gas pump at night in a "Leonida" tank top. Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG that a fuel system exists and was designed not to be a major inconvenience. This is the clearest in-game look at that system so far.
The remaining seven: on a sportbike with police lights behind him; motorbike riders in helmets with guns inside a store; a roadside standoff with three men by a pickup; firing a rifle with sparks flying; crouched behind a car door with a rifle as two helicopters converge overhead; driving with a passenger; a gun drawn in a smoky room.
The two-helicopter shot is worth noting. Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG that at 6 stars the search goes map-wide and is hard to shake. Two helicopters converging on one position, the game is not shy about escalating.
Lucia Caminos: 4 Screenshots

Four solo Lucia shots. Rockstar used all four to frame her as someone comfortable with pressure.
One close-up: Lucia holding a pistol at her chin, police lights behind her. Another: aiming from a moving car. A third: close-up aim at sunset, warm lighting, cold expression. The fourth: pistol beside a rain-speckled window in neon light, the kind of composition that ends up on a loading screen.
All four are tight and deliberate. Rockstar is not putting Lucia in wide environment shots. Every image keeps her face in frame.
Vice City: 15 Screenshots

Fifteen Vice City shots, the largest single category in the gallery, and the range is wide.
The nightclub shot under green lights is the most talked-about environment image. Miami New Times describes the venue as looking like Vice City's answer to Miami's Club Space. Crowd density is visible. This is not a room with 12 NPCs and empty space between them.

The overhead hotel pool shot reinforces it. Bodies packed wall to wall, floaties, umbrellas, Vice City skyline behind them. PC Gamer's coverage highlighted crowd detail and close-up skin texture across several shots, the outlet specifically called out "so many pores" as a marker of how far character rendering has come.

The canal chase is the clearest look at water pursuits: police boats and helicopters converging on a speedboat at dusk, Vice City skyline behind it. Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG that the police system tracks what vehicle you are driving and adjusts accordingly. A speedboat pursuit has its own logic.

Other Vice City shots: two men in a car with a pistol; a marina with yachts and the skyline; a close-up of a man covering his face; a woman among floating dollar bills; a man with a pit bull in a spiked collar; a barbershop or tattoo scene; four tattooed figures in a dim room; a neon gas station sign at night; a strip-club dressing room; a woman on a wrapped muscle car at a waterfront car meet; the Kodak Black lookalike club booth; and a night skyline.

The car meet shot is the kind of scene that has been in every GTA since San Andreas. Car culture has a place in Leonida, beyond that, no mechanics are confirmed from a screenshot alone.
Grassrivers, Leonida Keys, and Port Gellhorn

Two Grassrivers shots, both leaning hard into the swamp setting. One: a man holding a snake beside an alligator at a swamp camp. The other is a night shot, an alligator's eye glowing as an airboat crew shines a spotlight under a crescent moon. The Grassrivers region is covered in more depth in the Leonida locations guide.

The Leonida Keys gets one shot: a diver above a reef with lionfish visible. First underwater screenshot in the official set. The Keys have appeared in earlier official material, this is the clearest look yet at what diving there actually looks like.
Port Gellhorn gets one shot: a pole dancer under a neon cabaret sign. One image, one location, nothing else from Rockstar.
What the Screenshots Suggest About Gameplay
Rockstar gave no captions and no mission names. Everything below is DecodedSix's read of what is visible, not confirmed mechanics.
The gas station shot lines up with the fuel system Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG. The gym shot lines up with the workout system he described. The car meet suggests car culture has a scene presence. The Fleeca robbery shot, with the duffel bag in frame, fits the money flow Rob Nelson described to TGG: cash in a bag goes to a fence, not a phone deposit. The robbery system breakdown covers that mechanic in full.
The canal chase and the two-helicopter Jason shot both suggest police pursuit escalates in ways the minimap will not help you track. Rob Nelson confirmed to TGG that police are not shown on the minimap and that the search system uses an inner circle and a larger outer area, escape both to lose them.
The crowd density in the pool and nightclub shots is consistent with what Rockstar showed in the Extended Look. For more on how the NPC world is built, see GTA 6 NPC System: Why Rockstar Calls Leonida the Most Alive World It's Ever Built.
None of this is confirmed from the screenshots alone. It is pattern-matching against what Rockstar has already confirmed through official channels and Tier 1 sources.
What Rockstar Did Not Show
No Ambrosia shots. No Mount Kalaga. No new named characters beyond what was already in the official set. No captions, no mission titles, no story context for any image.
39 images across 7 categories. A specific, curated selection two weeks out from launch. What Rockstar chose not to show is as deliberate as what it did.

All 39 Launch Gallery images are now in the DecodedSix screenshot archive, organized by character and region, with the Rockstar credit kept on every image.
GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-load opens November 10.

what does rockstar show you two weeks before gta 6 launches
Two weeks before the November 19, 2026 launch, Rockstar published the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Gallery at rockstargames.com/VI/launch-gallery. It contains 39 unique 4K images at 3840x2160 resolution, organized across locations and characters including Vice City, Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, and more. The gallery was announced on Newswire and X with no captions, mission names, or story context provided.
is kodak black in gta 6
Rockstar has not confirmed that Kodak Black appears in GTA 6, though fans identified a character in the Launch Gallery screenshot Vice_City_25 as him based on hairstyle, face tattoos, and a large '1800' pendant. Miami New Times noted that Kodak Black's music was also audible in GTA VI's extended preview, and similar lookalike speculation arose after the first trailer in December 2023. Until Rockstar makes an official statement, the character should be described as 'the character fans say is Kodak Black' rather than a confirmed appearance.
how many screenshots are in the gta 6 launch gallery
The GTA 6 Launch Gallery contains 39 unique images, based on a count of Rockstar's own file names downloaded from the official page. Other outlets reported counts ranging from 35 to 38 because the page also displays edition art and bonus-content imagery, and some counted by eye rather than by file name. The file-name count of 39 is the most accurate figure.
does gta 6 have a fuel system
Yes, GTA 6 includes a fuel system, as confirmed by Rob Nelson to TGG and supported by a Launch Gallery screenshot showing Jason at a gas pump at night wearing a 'Leonida' tank top. Nelson confirmed the system was designed not to be a major inconvenience to players. This screenshot is described as the clearest in-game look at the fuel mechanic released so far.
how does the gym system work in gta 6
In GTA 6, gym memberships are purchasable at the front desk, as confirmed by Rob Nelson to TGG. Completing three exercises of the same type fills a workout ring and triggers a timed stat boost. A Launch Gallery screenshot showing Jason Duval on a weight bench mid-press aligns with what was previously shown in Trailer 1.
