Rockstar broke its silence on the CyberLeek leaks today, apologised for the wait, and confirmed that 19th November isn't moving. Here's the statement and what we think it means.

Rockstar Finally Addresses the Leaks
Rockstar Games broke over a week of silence today and put out an official statement on the CyberLeek gameplay leaks.
"It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time," Rockstar said.
The studio also apologised for how long everything has taken. "We are very sorry that everything has taken as long as it has, from getting the game finished (nearly there!) to sharing more details and official gameplay, and providing the community with everything you want to know."
The Launch Date Isn't Moving
Rockstar confirmed the Extended Look still premieres on Netflix tomorrow, and 19th November remains the release date. "While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19."
No delay. No damage control beyond the apology. Just a request to hold out a little longer.
Our Take: These Leaks Are Real
Rockstar never called CyberLeek's footage fake or doctored. Nothing in the statement disputes what's already out there. Read alongside the tone of the whole thing — treating leaked gameplay as a real, painful blow to how the team wanted this reveal to go — that's about as close to confirmation as a studio gets without actually saying "legitimate" outright. Based on what Rockstar has put out, we think the leaks are the real game.
Does that take the shine off tomorrow? We don't think so. A few leaked clips from a stranger's capture card are not the same as Rockstar's own cut, on Rockstar's own terms, with Rockstar's own polish. We're still fully on board for whatever they show.
What's Next
The Netflix Extended Look drops in 24 hours. We'll cover it live here the moment it's up, along with every scrap of Rockstar news between now and 19th November. That's less than three months away.
Keep it locked here.
